After the death of his father, a young prince meets a strange masked figure who changes his life forever. As the council fight over power, the prince is caught up in the conflict, living in fear for his life every day. By the time he comes of age, and can take up the title of King, he is already under their control, finally breaking free of the cycle of abuse one day when he can take no more. He discovers then that magic lives inside his body, magic he has no control over. The strange masked figures help him not only release his magic to its fullest, but to control it also, setting him on a new path of pain and suffering which he must traverse, to become the most powerful and feared man in his world...and other worlds......
